Unfortunately, incense has a bad reputation for lingering pungent odors and causing adverse health side effects due to the presence of synthetic non-combustible material in the sticks. The Midnight Apothecary was founded to offer natural, low-smoke incense to those who wish to continue the time-honored tradition of incense in a safer manner. Our incense is made using the traditional method of creating joss sticks, which is incense made of 100% botanical material and no internal bamboo core. We only use herbs, flowers, resins, woods and gums in our incense, ethically sourced from reputable vendors. Each blend is created with specific magickal intentions that reflect the properties of the ingredients used within.
